Upcoming Holiday Events in Farmington

1. Ice Skating Rink Now Open

The Farmington Tourism & Convention Bureau is excited to bring an ice skating rink to downtown Farmington!
The rink is located in the back parking lot of the Farmington Library between A Street and College Street.
The ice rink is open seven days a week through January 5, 2020. After that the skating rink will remain open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of February.
The hours of operation are 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; noon to 9:00 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6:00 p.m. Sunday

2. Krekeler Jewelers Farmington Christmas Parade

The annual Krekeler Jewelers Christmas Parade will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in downtown Farmington.

Make sure to come out early and visit downtown merchants offering cookies, hot chocolate and special sales! Don’t miss getting your picture with Prancer next to the courthouse!

After the parade, join in singing Christmas Carols at City Hall as we await the arrival of SANTA! Santa and Mrs. Claus will officially open Winter Wonderland after the parade winners are announced. For more information click here: https://www.facebook.com/events/506107600175036/

3. Winter Wonderland

Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at Winter Wonderland weekdays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. through December 20th.  Winter Wonderland features the largest G-Scale Christmas Train Set in the area. 4. Senior Field Trip to Kimmswick & Tilles Park

Join Farmington Parks and Recreation as they go on a senior field trip! They will leave the Farmington Civic Center at 10:45 a.m, stop in Kimmswick for shopping and lunch, then head to Tilles Park for carriage rides through the Christmas lights! Lunch is not included in admission. $30 for Civic Center Members and $35 for Non-Members. 5. Breakfast With Santa

Join Santa at Winter Wonderland in Long Memorial Hall at City Hall! Enjoy a light breakfast, holiday activities and sitting on the jolly old man’s lap! Winter Wonderland is open exclusively to those who pre-register. Register at the Farmington Civic Center or online at www.farmington-mo.gov

6. Carriage Rides

This holiday season you will be able to take a carriage ride in downtown Farmington. The carriage ride will be available on Friday, December 6 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m and then every Saturday through Christmas from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The carriage rides are free of charge.
