12 Days of Hiking – Day 7 – Mina Sauk Falls.

Wow! What a beautiful view! This 3 mile hike is at the top of Missouri – the highest point in the state.

You will see beautiful views every step of the way, including Missouri’s highest waterfall. The waterfall is a wet weather waterfall so you will only see it after a rain, but it is still well worth it to do the full hike. The hike which begins on a paved trail, but turns to rock, is rated as moderate.

Mina Sauk Falls and Taum Sauk Mountain are approximately 28 miles from Farmington. Once you get to Ironton you take Highway 21 to CC and turn right which will lead you right to the trail head.
