Roar Fest at Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary! What better way to spend celebrate Halloween then by dressing up and coming to see our tigers. They will begin with a special tour during which the tigers will receive special Halloween enrichment and then will go up onto our observation deck. Followed by a costume contest and candy! Admission is $10 per person, kids in costume are only $5. No reservations required.

The Mineral Area College on the Arts and the City of Farmington present another family-friendly Theaterworks USA production, The Magic School Bus, a musical based on the book by Marshall Pailet, at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Centene Center in Farmington.
When the class gets lost on the way to the planetarium, Ms. Frizzle saves the day by blasting into outer space for an epic interplanetary field trip! But when rivalries both old and new threaten to tear the students apart, our young heroes must learn to pull together or risk getting forever lost in the solar system.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and are available now at the Civic Center, #2 Black Knight Drive, Farmington. Tickets may also be charged by phone at (573) 756-0900.
The show runs approximately 60 minutes and is recommended for grades K through 5.

Halloween at St. Francois State Park! This year there will be a a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and a contest for best decorated campsite.
The costume contest will have four categories: 0-3 years old, 4-12 years old, 13+ years, and best group costume. Contest will be held at the amphitheater. Please keep costumes family friendly.
Trick or treating will be after sunset from 6:30-8 PM. Participating campers will be given a Halloween Placard to post at time of registration. Campers are responsible for providing the candy.
Registered Campers may participate in the Halloween themed decorated campsite contest. Judging will take place during the trick or treating. Awards will be given out around 8:15 PM
