The Farmington Tourism and Convention Bureau is excited to bring an ice skating rink to downtown Farmington! How exciting is that!?

Downtown Farmington is already so amazing during the winter. Shops and restaurants are decorated for the holidays, Winter Wonderland inside City Hall with Santa Claus, Krekeler Jewelers Christmas parade, Christmas open house, Small Business Saturday, the annual Help the Hungry Bake Sale and now an ice skating rink.

The rink will be located in the back parking lot of the library between A Street and College Street.

The ice rink will open seven days a week beginning Thanksgiving night through January 5. After that the skating rink will remain open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of February.

The hours of operation are 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; noon to 9:00 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6:00 p.m. Sunday

The Tourism Board will have skates that you can rent for $2 a pair or you can bring your own. It is free to skate.

Each night different groups and clubs in the area will be volunteering to operate the rink and will be able to keep the money from that night’s skate rentals.
