12 Days of Hiking – Day 11 – Millstream Gardens
This hike is one of my absolute favorites in the area. The hike is relatively easy and leads to the most incredible views of the Tiemann Shut-Ins. The trail is a 1.7 mile paved trail. You can also do the 2.5 mile hike to Silver Mines (last picture).
Each year in early spring Millstream Gardens is home of the Missouri Whitewater Championship kayak races on the St. Francis River.
Millstream Gardens is located approximately 18 miles from Farmington outside of Fredericktown, Missouri.
