Farmington Missouri Spring Events

Farmington Missouri is a beautiful little town, tucked in between a national forest, state parks and conservation areas. In addition to hiking, biking, camping and site seeing, Farmington offers fun and exciting events throughout the year.

 

  • MARCH 2: The Farmington Fire Department is having a blood drive on March 2 from 10 AM – 2 PM at 222 East Columbia – Farmington, Missouri 63640. This particular event is to collect ‘double red’ blood cells but everyone is welcome to donate.
  • MARCH 2: Mark your calendar for the 3rd Annual St. Francois County Rotary Mouse Race on March 2, from 6 – 10 PM. This is a fund raising event, and you can purchase tickets before the event. Drinks, pizza and beer are included in the ticket price. Tickets will be $20 at the door. The event will be located at Redfield Collision Center on 114 Walker Drive. 
  • MARCH 23: If you enjoy country and western music, Justin Moore will be in town on March 23 for one night of entertainment. Justin is well known for the bad boy song, Til My Last Day.
  • APRIL 13: Join us for an evening of great fun for the Boot, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats Dinner Dance. The dance will be held Saturday, April 13 at St. Joseph Catholic School Auditorium. Stonewall is the featured band, and Jason Loughary will be the host emcee. King Daddy’s Catering is putting out all the stops on this dinner, so don’t miss out. Tickets cost $30 per person, or $25 for two or more. The location is 501 Ste. Genevieve Avenue, in Farmington.boots chaps and cowboy hats

  • APRIL 20: If you are looking for an opportunity to help young cancer patients, strap on your running shoes. The 3rd Annual Run/Walk/Ride with Walker benefits families with youngsters from birth to 18 years of age that are struggling with cancer. This event includes a 5K family fun run, a 15-mile timed bike route and a 5K and 10K timed runs. Event T-shirts are available and medals will be awarded to the winners. There will be a silent auction, and food will be available.
  • JUNE 22-23: Things will really warm up this summer, starting with the 2013 2nd Sting Fling NSA Qualifier. This is a two-day event, and is for “B” teams only. Check out the action June 22 -23 at the Farmington Sports Complex.
